How Celebrate Every Breath Came to Life

How Celebrate Every Breath Came to Life

I never thought this would be part of my story.

Celebrate Every Breath was born at a time I felt most broken—right in the middle of my cancer journey. I remember the night so clearly. It was after my second chemo session. I couldn’t sleep, and my body was tired. But my mind… my heart… were wide awake.

That night, I received what I now know were divine downloads—ideas that came to me like a flood. I saw the vision of a cap as my first merch, and deep in my spirit, I knew it wasn’t just about creating a brand. It was about giving back.

I asked for a name. And I received one:
Celebrate Every Breath.
It felt right. It felt like it was given to me.

I started taking notes on my phone because the ideas just kept coming. I didn’t even know what was happening. I doubted it. I didn’t feel confident. Who was I to start something like this while still battling cancer?

But the nudges kept coming. So I prayed.

When I finally embraced it, everything else began to fall into place. I felt so guided. Every product idea came with meaning. I created two teddy bears—Hope and Champ. Hope was inspired by a fellow patient I met in the hospital. Champ was my personal reminder: that we are all champions in our own journey, no matter how hard it gets.

I was still confined when I started reaching out to suppliers, designing, planning. By the time I flew home last October, everything was ready. Even my closest friends were surprised. Not only did I prepare the merch, but I also gave them to the people who never stopped praying for me and supporting me through my battle.

That was my way of saying:
"Life is short. Let’s celebrate it—every breath of it."

But just as I was getting ready for my soft launch, life happened again — I got shingles. My immune system was low, and I was forced to rest. I was left with only a week to push this through, but I told myself: “It’s okay. This isn’t about a perfect launch. This is about sharing purpose.” But I remembered the promise I made:
If I came home cancer-free, I would bring this to life.

And I did. Orders started coming in surprisingly, without me making any effort—even from people I didn’t expect. Story shared in my video. That’s when I realized:
This wasn’t about me anymore.
God was showing me that He would take care of the rest, as long as I walked in faith. This wasn’t just my idea—it was a mission He gave me.

One of the most meaningful parts of this journey happened in January, when I finally got to do my first outreach project. I chose the National Children’s Hospital, where I learned there were children battling cancer. While we weren’t ready to cover treatment yet, we were introduced to the Little Ark Foundation, an NGO that provides shelter for kids and families who have nowhere to stay while waiting for treatment.

Through Celebrate Every Breath, we were able to help fund a whole month’s worth of shelter for 8 families.
That day, I cried. Not because of sadness, but because of gratitude.

I was used as an instrument—and that is something I will never take lightly.

Celebrate Every Breath is not just a brand, this mission is bigger than me.
It’s not just a statement on a shirt or a cap.

It came through me, but its meant for all of us.
It’s a reminder—to you, to someone you love, or even to a stranger—that life is precious, and:

Don’t take life for granted.
Celebrate the small wins.
Be grateful — even for the hard days.
Celebrate. Every. Breath.

that every breath is a gift.

Every item you purchase supports a cause.
Every gift you give brings hope.
Whether it’s for someone fighting cancer, or someone facing silent battles, your gift might be what reminds them to keep going.
